Statement
Herman Sun is a designer-maker-jeweller-traveller. He has worked and exhibited
internationally across East Asia since 2010. He is keen on exploring minority sub-cultures
hidden in every corner of the world. He makes sculptural style jewellery to express his
minority aesthetic and style. He is a nomad.
Herman's collections are almost handcrafted with his nomadic style. Most of his works
are based on minority materials, antiques, rare gemstones, decorative totems and
traditional crafts. He aims at unfolding minority sub-culture in a contemporary fashion
way, and bring his “fusion” cultural jewellery travel around the contemporary world.
